The DESTINY Health Framework | Your Roadmap to Whole-Person Wellness

April Parker, PA-C and owner of Destiny Health Integrative Family Practice built every patient relationship around a single organizing idea: your health destiny is in your hands. The DESTINY framework is the structured, evidence-based map we use to promote wellbeing and health.

Where the DESTINY Framework Originates

April first encountered the seed of this idea in Dr. Dale Bredesen’s functional medicine classic, The End of Alzheimer’s. Dr. Bredesen wrote that your health DEStiny is in your hands where DES stands for Diet, Exercise, and Sleep, the three foundational pillars of nearly every major chronic disease.

Those are the big three. April expanded the acronym to capture every other major lever that drives whole-person wellness.

The DESTINY Framework

How the DESTINY Framework Becomes Your Care Plan

In your discovery call and intake, we take a full-picture look at where you are across all eleven DESTINY levers. Some areas will already be strong, while others will reveal the key imbalances contributing to your symptoms. From there, we focus on just two or three priorities at a time rather than trying to change everything at once, and we build steadily from that foundation over weeks and months. This is what sustainable, lasting change actually looks like.
